September 17, 2019- Riverkeeper Georgia Ackerman spent the morning motor-boating (aka boat patrol visual survey) the upper Apalachicola River, just below Woodruff Dam south to Aspalaga, providing a tour for staff of the National Park Service, FEMA and Main Street Chattahoochee. River level is low.
Citizen input is being sought on Chattahoochee River Landing Park masterplan. During the boat trip, we discussed the significance of recreational fishing, nature based tourism and the hydrogeological features of the upper Apalachicola River.
