RESTORE THE RIVER’S FLOW & SAVE “THE LAST GREAT BAY”

Apalachicola Riverkeeper is a 1000+ member non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and stewardship of the Apalachicola River and Bay. As part of the WATERKEEPER Alliance, Apalachicola Riverkeeper, along with our members and volunteers, is the River’s “voice”, working to focus public and political attention on the importance of saving this one-of-a-kind resource. Through Riverkeeper advocacy, we build new partnerships and develop collaborative approaches to address the most serious threats to the River and Bay, but there is more to be done and we need your help!

Inconceivably, this national treasure may not survive the decade without swift and direct intervention. It’s hard to imagine that the last 30-mile stretch of US coastline where wild oysters are still “tonged” (hand-harvested) could be gone forever!

As a non-profit, we depend on support from individual donors who believe as we do, that everyone has a shared responsibility to protect our natural world: to use only what we need, make smarter choices, and pass on to future generations the beauty, wildlife, water and natural resources we have today. Your tax-deductible contribution directly supports the organization’s ability to impact and influence decision makers.
