11th Anniversary Membership Campaign

Our members are the heart of the Apalachicola Riverkeeper. Your membership protects the Apalachicola River and Bay ecosystem. Your support enables us to fight on the front lines and strengthens us when we stand before decision-makers in Apalachicola, Chattahoochee, Tallahassee, and Washington. We thrive on your encouraging words and admonitions. You keep us alive. In these trying times your support is more important than ever.

At the beginning of March, 2009 we had 657 members. As part of our 10th Anniversary as a “keeper” (July 7, 2009), we increased our membership to 813 by July 18, 2009, when we will held our 10th Anniversary Open House. We seek to increase our membership to 1,000 by the end of the year (2009). To help achieve this we are asking our members to contribute $20 for at least one gift membership. For each gift membership contributed before September 5th we’ll reward our members with 2 tickets to our Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival, www.riverflix.org.
